Practice Schedule

Monday – Meet at Drake Park at 8:30 am - Farewell Bend w/Footbridge Extension (4 or 6.5 miles)

Tuesday – Meet at Mountain View Track at 6:30 pm – Daggett Extension/Shepard Loop & Strength Training (3 or 4 miles)

Wednesday – Meet at Drake Park at 8:30 am – Overturf Butte w/1 or 2 loops (3.5 or 5.1 miles)

Thursday – Meet at Mountain View Track at 6:30 pm – Eagle Loop / Wells Acres Cutoff (2.8 or 4 miles)

Friday – Meet at Drake Park at 8:30 am to Carpool to Tumalo Falls (Parents who can help drive and chaperone are welcome to join - Expected Return at 11)  (6 miles)

Saturday/Sunday – Rest Days 


Cultus Signups are Available

Our annual team summer camp is scheduled for August 3rd-6th (that's only weeks away!).  We have setup online payments through touchbase so you can signup now.  The camp waiver is attached to this email for you to print and turn in at practice.  Our goal is to have every athlete on the team attend Cultus Camp.  If cost is an issue let me know and we can find a way for athletes to earn a portion or all of their entry fee.

Pine Nursery Sunset Run

As many of you are aware, there is a community 5k/10k being held in conjunction with the Mountain View XC Runoff on the evening of September 2nd that John Swenson (team parent) is organizing as a fundraiser for our program.  If you are a parent that is interested in participating, online registration is now available here: https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php?event_id=124753. ; You can also share the event on your Facebook Page (see https://www.facebook.com/events/253952191632003/permalink/258148597879029/) ; John mentioned he could also use some help with race organization.  He is specifically Looking for:

- Someone to help order, check and pickup race shirts
- Someone to manage all water/electrolyte station setup (MV athletes can manage stations during race)
- Someone to organize post-race food/snacks
- Course Monitors at road crossings on race course
